While "the pink triangle went on to be reclaimed as a gay pride symbol in the 1970s, helping to make this history more known. But less known is the black triangle, which lesbians wore.
The black triangle was for “asocial” individuals which included many types of people including people with mental health issues, people living with addiction, sex workers, beggars, homeless people, pacifists… and lesbians or other “asocial” women. Though the black triangle was also reclaimed as a lesbian pride symbol, there are few records of any lesbians being persecuted solely for their sexuality. Most queer women more likely suffered if they held an intersectional identity, like being Jewish, or for being outspoken political activists." Tagg Magazine

We ship using USPS Ground Advantage, this allows us to track your order and keep shipping charges down; transit times vary depending on destination, however USPS indicates that Ground Advantage within the continental US takes 2 to 5 business days.
Print-on-demand items may ship via UPS, DHL, and or USPS; transit times will vary depending on destination, however within the continental US it is expected to take 2 to 5 business days.
We also are able to offer expedited shipping, though charges will vary.
At Adam's Nest we want you to be happy with your purchase. Our t-shirts are pre-washed, our sweatshirts, thermals, tanks, and sleeveless t-shirts are not pre-washed.
Typically t-shirts will experience some shrinkage when washed and dried. Unworn and unlaundered apparel (t-shirts, sweatshirts, thermals, tanks, and sleeveless t-shirts) may be exchanged or returned within 14 days for a store credit.
All other items are final sale.To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
If you are approved, then your store credit will be processed, within 3 business days.
Shipping fees are not refundable. If you received free shipping we will reduce the credit by the amount of the shipping cost.
Sale items
Only regular priced apparel items may be exchanged or returned for store credit; sale items are FINAL SALE.
Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchases from Adam's Nest and will gladly exchange unwashed/unworn apparel for another size or color or for a store credit within 14 days of receipt. Pins, Books, Stationary may be returned for store credit only within 14 days of receipt. Shipping fees are non-refundable and you will be charged the additional shipping fee for the replacement item if you want to exchange the item. We will provide a link where you will need to enter your payment information for the additional shipping charge before we are able to ship out the new item. We will await receipt of item from you before shipping out replacement. We ask your understanding as we are a small business and are unable to absorb these additional shipping fees.
Please contact us at orders@adamsnest.com to facilitate return/exchange so we can put aside desired item and provide you with an authorization number if necessary. We recommend using a service that you can track the item to ensure its receipt.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a store credit, only the price paid for the item and any taxes will be credited to you. If you received free shipping we will reduce the credit by the amount of the shipping cost. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
