LOUD & PROUD
Back in September, just after Labor Day we got the following message via our online shop's contact form:
“Good day, I manage public relations for Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, regional tourism council for Cape Cod. Working with the state tourism office, Mass Office of Travel & Tourism, Provincetown will soon host a travel writer from the UK (Zoey Goto) who is writing a story for National Geographic Traveler UK including a stay in Provincetown. Zoey has researched for this story and has asked the Cape Cod Chamber to contact the owner of Adam's Nest to arrange a short interview while Zoey and her photographer are in Provincetown.”
After a little back and forth we just assumed they'd show up at some point. We made sure the shop we nice and tidy and as the golden afternoon light arrived so did Zoey and her photographer. We spent a good hour together and got some great shots at that golden hour.
Several months went by and we recalled that the feature was likely in the January issue. Our daily Instagram work alerted us to the release of the issue. Try as we might finding a print copy of National Georgraphic Traveler UK is not as easy as one would think, so we paid for a digital copy and we able to read the feature.
We quickly flipped through the digital issue and alas no photos, but we were quoted, and we've got some good shots of the shop. It was lovely meeting Zoey and sharing a bit about Adam's Nest.
