Diver & Squid Bandana — Art by Dom “Etienne” Orejudos
The story
Somewhere between pulp adventure and fever dream, a diver descends.
This limited-run bandana draws from mid-century erotic illustration and maritime folklore, centering on a single charged encounter: a lone diver and a powerful octopus, bodies entwined in open water. The moment hovers between peril, curiosity, and something harder to name — muscle and tentacle in a dynamic study of control, surrender, and the deep unknown.
Featuring imagery from the Dom 'Etienne' Orejudos Collection, Leather Archives & Museum, Chicago.
The illustration is framed by an original rope-style border by The Haunted Disco, drawn from vintage nautical graphics and rendered in the clean, confident language of contemporary screenprint. The whole thing feels like a page torn from a lost leather-culture zine — graphic, knowing, and unmistakably coded.
