Vincent Gagliostro is a Paris-based artist, filmmaker, and activist. A founding member of ACT UP New York, he is best known for creating influential political graphics during the AIDS crisis and now focuses on fine art photography and narrative film that explores LGBTQ+ history and identity.
Adam Singer's relationships with Gagliostro and Avram Finkelstein — both central figures in the ACT UP era of queer visual activism — directly enabled Adam's Nest's 'QUEERS READ THIS' apparel program, drawing from the anonymous manifesto distributed at the NYC Pride March in June 1990.
